Stunning grain and colour in this piece of sweet chestnut that came all the way from Wales. I acquired this piece of wood when I bought my VB36 wood lathe from a gentleman who was retiring from woodturning at the age of 80. He was parting with all his workshop tools and timber that he had collected over the years so luckily I got the chance to bring this piece to fruition.
