This bowl is in the style of Liam Flynn who was probably the most talented woodturner in Ireland when it comes to form. His wood-turned forms are the most spectacular I’ve ever seen for their perfect design, form, and immaculate finish.
This piece of Oak was turned while the wood was fresh/wet, the feet were carved and then it was allowed to dry slowly. As it dried it warped and took on its final form.
Finish: Danish Oil
